Coaching and / or Private Sessions with Dorset

Dorset offers private NVC mediation and coaching to individuals, couples and families, in person and by phone or Skype. Many people find NVC coaching helpful in resolving tensions and conflicts within themselves or with others eg. partners, families, work colleagues.

The first half hour is offered for free to establish clearly whether or not NVC coaching will meet your needs. After this the cost is $100 per 45 minutes.

Sessions are usually 1 to 1.5 hours long for individuals, and 2 hrs long for couples.

Private sessions cater for individual, couples or group work and can be focused on deep empathy healing, relationship coaching, reconciliation and/or mediation or private NVC training.

Which is better, attending a workshop or going to weekly sessions with an NVC coach?
Though each provides a different experience, we recommend attending a NVC Foundation Training as soon as possible because it provides an overview and some practice of all the NVC ideas and skills. This can save you time and money, and give you a solid foundation for your individual or couples work. The workshop experience can achieve results comparable to 3 - 6 months of weekly coaching. As such, it is extremely cost efficient. It provides a solid educational foundation to the personalised work that you then have an opportunity to integrate. We also find that a shift can occur within the framework of the workshop that is very difficult to achieve in individual or couples work, which can mean that the work with an individual coach is then a lot more efficient and effective.

However, we also recommend that if a workshop is not scheduled soon or you are unable to make the next time, you begin ongoing sessions. Also, some people want to try out a few sessions before committing to the NVC Foundation Training, and that’s fine. Dorset is happy to discuss your particular situation with you individually to ensure optimum use of your time and resources.
